Architect’17 featured the “Baan Baan” theme which encouraged architects and visitors to question: What makes a good home? What contributes to good living conditions? These questions were not limited to only housing, but also any kind of buildings that serve to shelter people from outside. To answer those questions, CIG and Kingspan presented ‘design possibilities’ as our main concept for the year.
We recreated a miniature model of Kingspan’s project in Australia–the Australian National Maritime Museum Warships Pavilion. This is an architecture designed to shape like the sea in the wake of a boat passing by. This implicitly unveil the new heights that architects can achieved through modern materials.
The sleek and polished look of Kingspan Benchmark™ captured the many eyes of visitors who were stunned to know the extent to which the product can explore. It was almost inconceivable to most; the fact that this refined structure can be used as a complete wall system for the whole building as well as its functional performances in compliance to worldwide standards.
